Therapy for Men & Masculinities
Many Men Have Unquiet Minds.
We help men find their calm, learn how to cope, and show up in their emotional & relational lives with more confidence and mindful connection.

Men’s mental health often goes overlooked, yet the pressures of work, family, and personal expectations can take a significant toll. Whether you're a new dad, navigating relationships and trying to understand how your past may impact your present, or seeking balance in your life, having a space to focus on your mental well-being is essential.

At Verve Psychotherapy, we specialize in therapy for men & masculinities, offering online mental health support in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York to help men prioritize their emotional well-being and access the gender-specific treatment they deserve.

Why Therapy for Men & Masculinities?
Men are often expected to be strong, resilient, and self-sufficient, which can make it difficult to ask for help. However, stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges don’t have to be endured & tackled alone. Therapy provides a confidential, judgment-free space where men can explore their masculinity experiences, access their human emotions, develop coping strategies, and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
At Verve Psychotherapy, we help men address:

-
Work Stress & Burnout: Managing career demands while maintaining mental well-being.
-
Fatherhood & Parenting Challenges: Navigating the emotional shifts of becoming a new dad.
-
Relationships & Communication: Strengthening emotional connection with partners and family.
-
Anxiety & Depression: Identifying triggers and building coping strategies.
-
Grief & Loss: Processing complex emotions and finding meaning, healing, and growth along the way.
-
Work-Life Balance: Finding equilibrium between professional success and personal fulfillment.
-
Alcohol & Substance Use Concerns: Exploring a sober-curious lifestyle or reducing dependency.
-
Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs): Supporting postpartum men and their partners.
-
Rapid Recovery from Trauma and Other Mental Health Problems: Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®) is an evidenced-based, trauma-informed treatment designed to help you "Keep the Knowledge, Lose the Pain" in as little as 1 - 5 sessions. Read more about ART® here and also read about how ART® can help men's mental health here.
